
St. Cloud State’s University Library Student Advisory Board consists of undergraduate and graduate students who broadly represent the academic programs and overall diversity of the St. Cloud State’s student body. All students may apply for a position on the advisory board by submitting an application. Additionally, students can be nominated by SCSU employees to apply.

St. Cloud State University Library recognizes the value of student contribution to library services, facilities, resources, programming and policies. The primary objective of the board is to facilitate communications and the exchange of ideas between the student body and the library in order to provide students with the best possible library spaces, services, and resources.

- Convey student needs, concerns, and priorities regarding University Library services, facilities, resources, and programming.
- Provide advice and feedback on library policies and services.
- Provide ideas and input on the design and implementation of new library services and on improving library spaces.
- Provide insight into student study, research, and library use habits.
- Help communicate information about library services and resources to the student community.
- Advocate for the University Library to campus constituencies.
- Represent the University Library at campus events.
