Look to the top of NetAdvantage's webpage. You'll see a blue menu bar; "Companies" is the second option. Position your cursor over "Companies" to see links to company profiles, financials, SEC filings, and more.



Securities and Exchange Commission: EDGAR Database of Corporate Information Unrestricted Resource
Provides information about publicly held corporations, which are required by federal law to file reports on their activities with the Securites and Exchange Commission. Most reports filed from 1994 to the present are publicly available through EDGAR (Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval System) on this site. The information about each company includes financial status, chief officers, stock information, company history, pending litigation that might have an economic impact on the company, and more (Diana Hacker, 2003).

Value Line covers more than 1,700 companies listed on the major U.S. stock exchanges. The "Weekly summary and index" gives ratios, rankings, and price data in an alphabetical list. Detailed listings for each company are arranged in "Ratings and reports" sections, grouped by industry sectors, each introduced with an industry overview. Each also includes Value Line ratings, projections, and betas. The "Weekly selection and opinion" contains predictions about economic conditions and outlook, with profiles on recommended investments.

Almanac of Business and Industrial Financial Ratios

Ratios for industry-wide inventory turnover, current assets to working capital, quick ratio, asset turnover, and others. Also included: debt ratios, returns on assets, returns on equity, and profit margins. Industry information is divided into thirteen categories based on company size.
