A beautiful statistical mapping of the diverse population of the United States. Broken down to ethnic groups (e.g., "Hispanic Americans") and sub-groups (e.g., "Welsh Americans"). Extensive essays on each major group, including items such as educational attainment, population growth projections, voter turnout, and income. Distribution of sub-groups is displayed in 2-tone maps of the U.S. mostly for 1980 and 1990, but with some historical information going back to 1950 or even 1900. Graphs (e.g., for occupation, employment). Includes comparison graphs and tables. Recommended readings, and an index

Website of the ACLU Racial Justice Program which aims to preserve and extend constitutionally guaranteed rights to people who have historically been denied their rights on the basis of race. 
Diversity & Ethnic Studies: Recommended Websites & Research Guides
Provides links to African American, American Indian, Asian American, and U.S. Latino resources, along with links to resources on often-overlooked minorities such as lesbians, bisexuals, and gays. There's also a brief list of multicultural resources, meaning those that deal with more than one ethnic minority or cultural group.
Diversity Bibliography
A Web directory to online resources on diversity, including many fulltext; includes Web-based bibliographies of printed articles and books.

A non-profit organization that provides teachers with professional development through institutes and seminars. "For more than 25 years, Facing History has engaged teachers and students of diverse backgrounds in an examination of racism, prejudice, and antisemitism in order to promote the development of a more humane and informed citizenry,"(From Website).
Historical Text Archive
Offers more than 3,000 links to materials by country and region (with the United States receiving the strongest coverage) and by topic such as Native American, African American, movie history, and genealogy. Resources include both primary and secondary sources (Diana Hacker, 2003).
Microaggressions Project
Provides a visual representation of the everyday of microaggressions, or comments that create and enforce uncomfortable, violent and unsafe realities onto peoples’ workplace, home, school, and other environments.
Women of Color Web
Provides access to writings by and about women of color in the U.S., focusing specifically on issues related to feminisms, sexualities, and reproductive health and rights. Also provides links to organizations, discussion lists, and academic tools concerned specifically with women of color.

A legal advocacy organization specializing in civil rights and public interest litigation. 

  Statistics and data

Provides demographic data pertaining to housing, business, income, geogrpahic and climate indicators, women and minority-own business, crime rates, educational attainment and poverty. Data comes directly from the US census and is neatly compiled into very usable format that can be viewed from the national, state, county, city or township level.
